I so miss Mike. The last night we were together, we went up to my friend’s glassblowing shop to make glass. It was much like a night tonight, raining and stormy. Mike was so alive, when we arrived he went right up to people he had never met and started a conversation. I thought things must really be coming around. If you would have seen him that night you would have thought he would have made it through anything. We laughed, listened to loud music and of course ate a lot of really good food. We talked about the future and how we would live together. The next morning heavy snow covered the garden as if the sky was angry with the ground. How quickly things can change. Mike was so good to everyone and helped so many, gave everyone hope and love. I feel so fortunate to have known and loved such a wonderful soul.
