Susan Baldwin just asked about the organizations to make donations in Mike's memory - there were two: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Michael’s name can be sent to Hungry For Music, which provides instruments to children who show a love of music, https://hungryformusic.org or Spay Neuter Now, which sterilizes cats and dogs in upstate New York http://www.spayneuternow.org.

Oil painting and calligraphy were among Mike's amazing range of talents. When Ellen and I married at Lake Ozonia, Mike penned our invitation and gave us the most remarkable gift - an oil painting he made of our home for two years from a photo he took while out paddling. It has hung in our living room for twenty five years, a reminder of camp and all the fun and joy we've had there.
