Mike took in many cats over the years, many were strays that needed a good home. Sally sorted through Mikes photos and made the 'Cats!' and 'More Cats!' links which are now posted in the photography section. One of his oldest cats was Rosemary, she would go to work with Mike - actually lead the way - see the video below.

Mike's musical life was all encompassing. He could play anything (although we never could get to sing) but his favorite was his collections of basses. Damien put this photo on his tribute page.

Dr. Damian Allis worked with Mike and Sean Kelly at the Syracuse University Chemistry Department and the three of them performed as Funktion Key 3. Within a week after Mike's death Damian wrote a heartfelt, kind and beautifully worded tribute for Mike reflecting their decades long friendship and music making.
